What if I'm far away?  I live and work in Kalamazoo, Michigan but that doesn't mean I can't build your website in California!  That's the beauty of the Internet.  We can do things and exchange information via fax, mail or email and phone.  If you are a 'local', I will want to meet up with you either at my home office (as long as you aren't allergic to cats and dogs), or somewhere in town.  Face-to-Faces are great, but not necessary.
 

How do we get started?  You and I will need to go over in detail what you're looking for.  I have a standard set of questions to go over with you that will help us find what you want and what you need.  If you have no idea what you want, we can start with the basics and play with designs until you are satisfied.  You can get the questions here.  After you have completed the questions and I have a direction to start in, I'll set up a rate quote/contract and accept your first payment of 50% of the quoted cost.
 

How long does it take to complete a site?  Its hard to say how long for sure each site will take to complete.  I have finished some sites overnight, and others within a month.  It all depends on how effectively we can communicate, and how complicated or simple your site needs to be.  I do try to accommodate deadlines, however giving me a weeks notice to take on and complete a major project may require you to adjust your deadline.  The hardest part of designing any site is the layout.  After the layout is complete, the rest is a cake walk.
 

What if I don't like something?  After the layouts and content are complete, I'll have you take a final walk-through of the site.  Anything that should be changed or modified should be noted at this time.  Once you are completely satisfied, your final payment will be due and the site will be uploaded onto your web space.  If you decide you don't like something after you have already paid, let me know what is bothering you and I'll do what I can to bring it up to your standards, however, I will not be able to completely re-do the site without charge.  No refunds are given after you make your final payment.
 

I need a website but I don't know anything about the internet! Don't panic :)  I can walk you through purchasing a domain name and web space, and once your site is complete, not only will you have a better understanding of how this stuff works, I can maintain your site for you.
